About the role#
This is a full-time, paid internship for a Software Engineer Generalist. You will work on-site at our Fremont office. The position is rolling, meaning start dates are flexible, and we require a minimum commitment of three months.
What you'll do#
- Design and implement algorithms and evaluation metrics for core AI decision-making.
- Build scalable data pipelines and toolchains for large-scale data ingestion, batch processing, and evaluation.
- Develop system-level evaluation metrics, testing frameworks, and simulation environments across various business components.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a BS, MS, or PhD program in Computer Science or a related field.
- Strong programming skills in C/C++ and Python, along with a solid grasp of software design.
- A foundation in mathematics and theoretical computer science, including linear algebra, calculus, graph theory, computational geometry, combinatorial optimization algorithms, stochastic processes, and complexity analysis.
- Ability to maximize performance while keeping complexity and cost low.
- Experience with large data set processing and real-time systems.
- Solid engineering discipline and experience in a structured engineering environment.
- Full stack experience (front end and back end) and statistics analysis experience are preferred.

- Compensation: $7,000 per month for Master's students and $10,000 per month for PhD students.
