About the role#
Tyler Technologies is hiring Software Development Interns for the Summer 2027 term. This on-site position in Lubbock, Texas, offers a look at the day-to-day work of a software company. You will work on actual projects, participate in team meetings, and receive guidance from a Product Manager while contributing to the development of our products.
What you'll do#
- Write or modify software modules to meet project specifications.
- Test and review code to ensure program integrity.
- Create and update system documentation.
- Research new technologies and suggest ways to incorporate them into software designs.
What you'll need#
- You are pursuing a bachelor degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
- Exposure to programming languages such as SQL, VB/VB.NET, C++/C#, or ASP/ASP.NET.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Clear oral and written communication skills.
- The ability to work well within a development team to address technical and business goals.
- The ability to conduct independent research and present your findings.
