About the role#
As a Co-Op Software Developer, you will join our Custom Programming Group to work with our mid-size customers. This position requires a commitment to three full-time rotations. You will contribute to our software products while gaining experience in a professional development environment.
What you'll do#
- Write Java code for both new and existing software applications.
- Support existing customer installations.
- Produce quality code, effective testing, and production solutions.
- Create technical specifications based on functional requirements.
- Help the QA team by reproducing, diagnosing, and analyzing the root cause of issues.
What you'll need#
- Current pursuit of a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
- Ideally, you have finished your sophomore year and are entering your junior year.
- A strong foundation in Java programming.
- A basic understanding of data structures and algorithms.
- Experience with software development tools and version control systems.
- The ability to work well within a team.
- Authorization to work in the United States permanently without the need for visa sponsorship.
