About the role#
As a Software Engineer Intern on the Helios team, you will spend 12 weeks working within our engineering organization. You will own your projects from start to finish and contribute to the product life cycle. You will partner with engineers who provide mentorship and professional development. This role involves working alongside product, marketing, and sales teams.
What you'll do#
- Work on small, collaborative teams to drive the company forward.
- Develop features and test software.
- Deploy projects directly into production throughout your internship.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment in a B.S. degree program for Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related discipline.
- Strong programming skills in JavaScript, Golang, or TypeScript.
- A firm grasp of algorithms and data structures.
- A deep understanding of computer science fundamentals.
- Knowledge of operating systems, distributed systems, concurrency, multithreading, and server architectures.
