About the role#
The Audit Intern position is a full-time, paid program running for eight weeks during the summer of 2027. You will join an industry group to work on client engagements and gain hands-on experience in public accounting. Each intern is paired with an advisor to support their development throughout the program.
What you'll do#
- Assist in providing quality audit services to clients.
- Draft financial statements using the firm's prescribed format.
- Prepare portions of compilation, review, and audit engagements.
- Help clients with routine accounting functions.
- Complete a market research project and present your findings to firm leadership.
What you'll need#
- Completed at least 75% of a bachelor’s degree in accounting from an accredited university.
- Demonstrated progress toward CPA exam eligibility.
- Ability to travel locally to client sites at least 80% of the time.
- Access to a car or public transportation.
