About the role#
Piper Sandler is hiring an undergraduate intern for the Public Finance division in Minneapolis for Summer 2027. This is a full-time, paid internship. The program is open to students graduating in December 2027 or Spring 2028. The pay rate is $21 per hour.
What you'll do#
- Create, update, and manage Microsoft Excel spreadsheets.
- Use industry-standard software to calculate debt schedules and sources and uses.
- Support the Public Finance team with various projects and assignments.
- Attend meetings with senior staff and prepare materials to support these discussions.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment as an undergraduate student with a major in Finance, Economics, or Business Administration.
- Strong analytical skills and a clear interest in financial markets.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel.
- Excellent research, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- High attention to detail.
- Knowledge of Tableau is a plus.
