About the role#
The Investment Banking Summer Associate Program is a ten-week opportunity based in San Francisco. You will join the Greentech team, which focuses on mergers and acquisitions and strategic advisory within sustainable technology and infrastructure. The program begins with a one-week training course, followed by a nine-week placement where you act as a full member of the deal team. You will have access to mentors and participate in networking events throughout the summer.
What you'll do#
- Work with clients and execution teams on live transactions, such as divestitures, capital raisings, financings, and derivative transactions.
- Present ideas at client meetings alongside senior bankers.
- Support transactions and presentations by performing financial, structural, and business risk analysis.
- Pitch and win new mandates from clients using proprietary content.
- Manage Analysts to execute client deliverables.
- Support the training and mentoring of junior professionals.
What you'll need#
- You are currently pursuing an MBA, MS, MES, MA, MEM, or another graduate degree.
- You are on-track to graduate between December 2027 and June 2028.
- You have outstanding academic qualifications.
- You have a clear interest in business opportunities within sustainable infrastructure, technology, and industrial disruption.
- You possess strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- You are organized and capable of managing multiple projects and deadlines.
- You have excellent analytic, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
- You show exceptional attention to detail and a willingness to learn on the fly.
- You are comfortable with both quantitative and qualitative work.
- You have an ability to develop an understanding of financial products.

- Compensation: Paid at an annualized rate of $175,000, pro-rated for the duration of the program.
