About the role#
Piper Sandler is hiring undergraduate students for a full-time, 8-week summer internship program in 2027. This role supports the Equity Sales and Trading division. Interns gain on-desk exposure to trading US and International markets while working with teams that serve institutional investors across North America, Europe, and Asia.
What you'll do#
- Interact daily with senior leaders and business heads.
- Gain exposure to cash, program, algorithmic, and options trading products.
- Participate in a stock market investment simulation.
- Collaborate on a team project to be presented to equity leadership at the end of the program.
What you'll need#
- Undergraduate student status (sophomores and higher) with a minimum 3.5 GPA.
- Interest in a career within the financial services industry.
- Strong analytical ability, intellectual curiosity, and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Confidence to interact with colleagues at all levels.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
- Majors in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, Mathematics, or Statistics.

- Pay: $21-30 per hour.
