About the role#
As a Technology Analyst intern, you will work at the intersection of finance and technology. Over the course of this 10-week summer program, you will contribute to technology solutions that assist the firm in making investment decisions, managing portfolio risk, and serving clients. You will work alongside engineers, developers, investment professionals, and analytics teams to develop software and deliver tools.
What you'll do#
- Develop software and deliver value-add tools.
- Work alongside engineers, developers, investment professionals, and analytics teams.
- Participate in PIMCO Fundamentals Training and technology training.
- Gain hands-on experience with AI-powered tools.
- Contribute to the firm's technology solutions for investment decisions.
What you'll need#
- Currently pursuing a bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, engineering, or a similar major.
- Minimum 3.5 cumulative collegiate GPA on a 4.0 scale.
- Fluent in English (speaking, reading, writing).
- Enrolled at a university during the Fall 2027 semester.
- Ability to begin full-time employment at the Austin PIMCO office between January 2028 and August 2028.
