About the role#
The Investments (Acquisitions) Intern will join our team in Cincinnati for the Summer 2027 term. This is a full-time, on-site, paid internship. You will report to the Senior Transactions Coordinator and work alongside underwriters and acquisition officers to support our retail property portfolio.
What you'll do#
- Perform financial modeling using Argus and Excel to assess potential retail acquisitions.
- Conduct research and analysis to support underwriters, including dashboard creation, tax analysis, and insurance quotes.
- Assist with market and tenant analysis during due diligence, such as compiling demographics, site maps, and competition surveys.
- Help prepare Executive Summaries for the Investment Committee.
- Complete ad hoc research projects related to the retail industry and our current portfolio.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a Finance or Real Estate degree program with a minimum 3.0 GPA.
- Intermediate to advanced proficiency in MS Excel and Word.
- Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
- Excellent organizational habits and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Previous co-op or internship experience is strongly preferred.
