About the role#
The Financial Analyst - Investment Management Intern will report to a Senior Financial Analyst and work closely with the AVP and VP of Investment Management. You will also collaborate across the Finance, Accounting, and Operations groups. This is a full-time, paid internship based in our Cincinnati office.
What you'll do#
- Assist with monthly and quarterly financial reporting for internal users and external investors.
- Help with NOI and Capital forecasting analysis and research variances to budget, prior reforecast, and prior year.
- Update budget and forecast financial templates.
- Produce financial and operational KPI reports.
- Prepare the quarterly Board of Directors presentation.
- Load and tie out data between the general ledger system and the forecasting system.
- Conduct peer, industry, and market research as needed.
What you'll need#
- Current undergraduate student enrolled in a Finance degree-seeking program.
- Minimum 3.0 GPA.
- Advanced MS Excel modeling skills.
- Strong analytic ability.
- Ability to work full-time during the semester.
- Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal skills for interacting with various internal and external groups.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
