About the role#
The Leasing Intern will work directly with Leasing Professionals to support the department in a generalist capacity. This position provides hands-on experience by involving you in the day-to-day tasks required to lease retail space at Phillips Edison and Company. You will gain insight into the work of a leasing agent while contributing to our team goals.
What you'll do#
- Conduct due diligence and lead property tours.
- Perform marketing and research tasks, including broker list development and the creation of flyers.
- Assist with merchandising evaluation, strategy, and planning.
- Engage in prospecting activities such as lead development and canvassing.
- Support the team with networking, follow-up, and the negotiation of letters of intent and leases.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a degree-seeking program at a university.
- A major in Real Estate, Sales, Finance, or a related business field.
- A minimum GPA of 3.0.
- Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Previous internship experience is preferred.
Location & details#
- This internship is based in Atlanta, Georgia.
- This is a full-time, on-site role for Summer 2027.
- You must be able to work 40 hours per week for the duration of the summer.
- This position is paid.
