About the role#
This internship provides an opportunity to explore the Commercial Bank at F.N.B. Corporation, with a focus on credit analysis and underwriting. You will apply your academic knowledge of business and finance to real world scenarios while gaining practical experience as a banking professional. This is a full-time, paid summer internship.
What you'll do#
- Participate in credit training and financial spreads and analysis.
- Work with credit analysts, portfolio managers, and commercial lenders to track and administer the commercial portfolio.
- Shadow commercial lenders or their business partners during outside business calls.
- Interact with business partners in Private Banking, Treasury Management, Wealth/Brokerage, and Business Banking.
- Analyze financial data to improve decision-making processes.
- Participate in events and training sessions scheduled for summer interns.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in an undergraduate bachelor program.
- Pursuing a major in Finance, Accounting, Marketing, or Information Technology.
- A High School diploma or GED.
- Ability to communicate information in a clear, logical, and effective manner.
