About the role#
Phillips Edison & Company is hiring a Finance Intern for the Spring 2027 term. This is a full-time, paid, on-site position based in Cincinnati, Ohio. You will report to a Finance Manager and work alongside the Finance team to gain experience in corporate budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting.
What you'll do#
- Assist with Net Operating Income and Capital Expenditure forecasting analysis.
- Research budget variances against prior reforecasts and prior year data.
- Ensure data integrity between the general ledger and forecasting systems.
- Work with the leasing analyst to track new leasing and retention metrics by tenant category.
- Maintain peer benchmarking files.
- Document project work and communicate findings to supervisors and team members.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a university degree program studying Finance or Accounting.
- A minimum GPA of 3.0.
- Strong Excel skills, including experience with financial modeling.
- Strong analytic ability.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
- Experience with MRI, Argus, or Microsoft Power BI is preferred but not required.
