About the role#
The Finance Intern will support our finance and accounting team by managing assigned projects and conducting research. You will assist with operational analysis, review processes, and help identify potential improvements. This role requires a balance of following instructions and working independently to solve problems.
What you'll do#
- Complete tasks assigned by your manager.
- Conduct research on accounting transactions and operational processes.
- Support financial analysis of operational results and work on strategic projects.
- Attend meetings and collaborate with the finance and accounting team.
- Update documents, templates, and checklists.
- Review month-end close processes to find potential weaknesses and suggest improvements.
- Keep a log of your learning and deliver presentations to staff and stakeholders.
What you'll need#
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Current pursuit of a degree in accounting, finance, business, or a similar field.
- Experience with Microsoft Office, specifically Excel.
- Strong self-motivation and the ability to work alone or in a team.
- Ability to remain calm in busy environments.
- Developed interpersonal skills and a professional appearance.
- A desire to work in the healthcare industry.
