About the role#
Perseus Group is looking for a Cyber Security Intern to join our team. This is a full-time, paid, remote position based in the United States. We offer a rolling internship term.
What you'll do#
- Monitor security alerts and investigate potential security incidents.
- Run vulnerability scans and document findings and remediation steps.
- Take part in security assessments, audits, and compliance activities.
- Assist with user access reviews and identity and access management processes.
- Use data analysis and statistical models to help inform risk management strategies.
- Develop internal processes and methodologies for risk assessment and monitoring.
- Complete other security-related tasks as assigned.
What you'll need#
- You are currently pursuing a bachelor's degree or higher in Cybersecurity, or an international equivalent.
- Strong analytical, decision-making, and problem-solving skills.
- Clear verbal and written communication skills for both technical and non-technical audiences.
- The ability to present information to a wide variety of audiences.
- A genuine interest in gaining a deeper understanding of the cyber security field.
- We will consider relevant certifications.
Location & details#
- Location: Remote, United States.
- Compensation: $27.00 to $33.00 per hour.
