About the role#
Perseus Group is seeking a Cyber Security Intern to join our team. This is a full-time, paid, remote position based in the United States. We are looking for individuals with a genuine interest in the cybersecurity field who are eager to gain practical experience through a variety of security-focused projects.
What you'll do#
- Monitor security alerts and investigate potential security incidents.
- Support vulnerability scanning and document findings and remediation efforts.
- Participate in security assessments, audits, and compliance activities.
- Assist with user access reviews and identity and access management processes.
- Use data analysis, statistical models, and historical information to support risk management strategies.
- Help develop internal processes and methodologies for risk assessment and monitoring.
- Perform other cybersecurity-related tasks and projects as assigned.
What you'll need#
- Currently pursuing a bachelor's degree or higher in Cybersecurity (or an international equivalent).
- Strong analytical, decision-making, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey information to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Ability to handle confidential and sensitive information effectively.
- A strong interest in gaining deeper knowledge of the cybersecurity field.
- Relevant certifications will be considered.

- Compensation: $27.00 - $33.00 per hour.
