About the role#
Dark Matter is looking for a Design Intern to join the marketing team. You will work with the Creative Director and the marketing team to support campaigns, events, product marketing, and branding efforts. This role offers hands-on experience with creative strategy and the production of assets for internal and external audiences.
What you'll do#
- Create and resize graphics for web, social media, conferences, and advertising.
- Design presentation visuals, landing pages, infographics, and thought leadership content.
- Assist with basic video editing, motion graphics, and multimedia projects.
- Prepare artwork files for digital and print production.
- Maintain and organize digital asset libraries and design files.
- Collaborate with marketing, sales, and product teams on creative requests.
- Participate in brainstorming sessions for campaigns and events.
- Support the development and maintenance of visual brand standards.
- Conduct visual and competitive research to inform campaign development.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a Graphic Design degree or a related creative field.
- A portfolio that shows your design work and creative thinking.
- Proficiency in Illustrator, InDesign, and the Microsoft PC environment.
- Working knowledge of PowerPoint and design best practices.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Experience with Figma, Canva, and email platforms like HubSpot is preferred.
- An interest in B2B marketing, fintech, SaaS, or mortgage technology.
- Familiarity with digital advertising formats and social media content creation.

- This position is based on-site in Jacksonville, Florida.
- The role is part-time with a rolling term.
- This is a paid internship.
