About the role#
As a Software Developer Intern at Perseus Group, you will join a Scrum team focused on building web-based ERP software for the homebuilding industry. You will report to our Solutions Architect and work on projects that integrate AI-assisted development into the software lifecycle. This is a full-time, paid position that offers a mix of on-site work in Markham and remote flexibility.
What you'll do#
- Study our application functionality, workflows, and design.
- Build a new product module end-to-end using AI-assisted development tools.
- Set up, test, and maintain MCP servers and connectors that power our AI development tools.
- Create and refine reusable AI context, including rules files, prompts, and agentic workflows.
- Expand automated test coverage, including unit, integration, and end-to-end tests using Playwright.
- Integrate tests into Azure DevOps CI/CD pipelines.
- Evaluate the reliability of AI-assisted output and document processes for scaling automation across the team.
What you'll need#
- Ability to work from our Markham, Ontario office.
- Experience with full-stack development, including HTML5, TypeScript, JavaScript, and .NET.
- Understanding of software requirements and the development lifecycle.
- Experience building multi-tier, distributed web solutions with a focus on Responsive Design.
- Knowledge of development best practices, including Git workflows like branching and pull requests.
- Familiarity with SQL, Object-Oriented Design, and Test-Driven Development.
- Familiarity with AI coding assistants, prompt engineering, Playwright, and Azure DevOps is an asset.
- Currently pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or Mathematics.

- Location: Markham, Ontario (On-site and remote work).
- Compensation: CAD$22.50 to CAD$27.50 per hour.
- Term: Rolling.
