About the role#
As a Technical Support Engineering Intern, you will work directly with our engineering teams to solve real-world problems. You will be based at our San Mateo headquarters and work with cloud-managed IoT technology. This role involves assisting enterprise clients with system design and troubleshooting.
What you'll do#
- Troubleshoot network, hardware, and software issues on the Verkada platform.
- Provide system design and integration advice to customers.
- Explain technical concepts to users via phone, live chat, and email.
- Take ownership of customer issues from start to finish.
- Partner with Engineering and Product teams to test new gear and identify bugs.
- Write Knowledge Base content for our users.
What you'll need#
- You are a third or fourth-year student in a Bachelor's degree program.
- You are pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Cybersecurity, or a related technical field.
- You have coursework experience with Linux, computer systems, and networking.
- You can communicate complex technical information clearly.
- You are a detail-oriented problem solver who works well in a team.
- Industry certifications such as CCNP, CCNA, or Network+ are a bonus.
