About the role#
We are looking for software engineers to join our team in San Mateo. You will take ownership of projects across our product and platform teams. You will work on the full software stack and collaborate with cross-functional groups to build new iterations of our security systems. This is a full-time, on-site role.
What you'll do#
- Design, develop, test, deploy, and maintain embedded software for our fleet of devices.
- Work with the hardware team to develop features using C, C++, and Go.
- Develop and verify embedded software, firmware, and drivers.
- Contribute to the existing code base to push new features over-the-air.
- Collaborate with senior engineers to define specifications for future products.
- Experiment and test with new development boards.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a Bachelor's or Master's degree program in Computer Science or a similar technical field.
- Graduation by June 2027.
- Previous internship experience developing and launching products.
- Experience with Embedded Linux, C, USB, I2C, and Yocto.
- Familiarity with Linux servers, device drivers, kernel patches, and secure operating systems.
- Ability to work in an agile team environment.

- Terms: Winter 2027 or Summer 2027.
