About the role#
This internship provides hands-on experience by pairing you with experienced professionals to work on real business initiatives. You will support the Accounting and Finance organization through daily tasks and project work, gaining exposure to how these departments support the broader business. You may be assigned to areas such as Financial Accounting, Controllership, Financial Planning and Analysis, Cost Accounting, Treasury, or Tax.
What you'll do#
- Analyze financial information and support reporting activities.
- Improve existing processes.
- Contribute to projects that help drive business decisions.
- Work alongside team members to complete day-to-day business tasks.
- Gain exposure to financial and business systems including Microsoft applications, Oracle, Hyperion, and Essbase.
What you'll need#
- Currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related business field.
- Strong academic standing.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to reach both financial and non-financial audiences.
- Ability to learn new technologies and business systems.
- Demonstrated problem-solving, analytical, and organizational skills.
- Experience leading projects or team efforts is preferred.
Location & details#
- Location: Pella, Iowa (on-site).
- Term: Summer 2027 (End of May through early August).
- Pay: $23.00 per hour.
- Requirements: Post-offer background check and drug screen are required.
