About the role#
Peak Energy is looking for a Global Supply Chain Management Intern to support the sourcing and management of direct materials for our Energy Storage Systems. You will gain hands-on experience in the strategy and operations required to launch and scale our battery products. This role offers the opportunity to learn how to build a supply chain from the ground up.
What you'll do#
- Assist in the development and execution of supply chain strategies for ESS components.
- Conduct supplier research and help draft RFIs and RFQs for critical components.
- Support supplier onboarding, including vetting, qualification, and data management.
- Track material readiness and manage build plans to support New Product Introduction (NPI) builds.
- Assist with logistics planning and cost optimization for both international and domestic shipments.
What you'll need#
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Industrial Engineering, Business, or a related field.
- Strong analytical and organizational skills, with proficiency in Excel or other data analysis tools.
- Prior internship or project experience in supply chain, operations, or procurement.
- An interest in clean tech, energy storage, or domestic manufacturing policy.
