About the role#
The Construction Services Intern will support the Gas Construction Services team during the summer of 2026. This role focuses on ensuring compliance with procedures and processes related to gas transmission and distribution systems. You will work alongside experienced Superintendents and Managers to support projects including traffic control, paving, and spoils operations.
What you'll do#
- Prepare documentation for construction and improvement projects.
- Assist with reporting and data entry using enterprise project system tools.
- Coordinate with contractors and construction managers.
- Observe construction and spoils operations in the field.
- Support records initiatives such as field assessment reviews.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree program in Business Administration, Construction Management, Mechanical Engineering, Civil Engineering, or a related field, with plans to return to school in the fall.
- A cumulative and major GPA of 3.0 or greater.
- A valid driver’s license, or the ability to obtain one at least 30 days prior to the start date.
- Strong problem solving, analytical, and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and within a team environment.
- EIT or FE certification is desired.
