About the role#
This is a full-time, paid internship based in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. You will work with a team of multi-disciplinary engineers to support the operation, maintenance, and performance of a District Energy Site. This position runs during the summer of 2027 and provides hands-on experience in power generation.
What you'll do#
- Inspect steam equipment located in tunnels and manholes.
- Troubleshoot maintenance and operation issues.
- Conduct failure investigations.
- Assist with the management of small projects.
- Review and update drawings to identify utility conflicts.
- Perform procedure reviews and ensure adherence to industry standards.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree program for Civil or Mechanical Engineering.
- Graduation date scheduled after July 2027.
- Minimum GPA of 2.8.
- High School Diploma, GED, or HSE.
- Legal authorization to work in the United States without sponsorship.
