About the role#
Our National Conversation (ONC) is looking for a Graphic Design Intern to join our media team. You will support our mission by producing visual content that promotes nonpartisan news and policy solutions. This role involves working across multiple departments, including Marketing, Business Development, and Core Content. You will work remotely and coordinate with your team through Zoom and Slack.
What you'll do#
- Create visual assets such as book covers, logos, fliers, infographics, and graphics for video projects.
- Design advertisements for potential organization sponsors using headlines provided by the creative writing team.
- Collaborate with various departments to produce content that engages our community.
- Communicate project status, design layouts, and timelines to leadership, including the CEO, COO, and Director of Marketing.
- Attend weekly Media and Marketing team meetings.
What you'll need#
- Current or recent enrollment in a degree program for Graphic Design, Marketing, Media Studies, or Art.
- Proficiency with editing software such as Adobe InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, or Canva.
- Ability to manage your own schedule to meet deadlines while working remotely.
- Clear and consistent communication skills.
- Authorization to intern in the U.S.

- This is a remote, unpaid, full-time internship.
- The term is on a rolling basis.
