About the role#
We are looking for a Front-End UX Intern to bridge the gap between design and development. This role is for a student interested in both user experience and hands-on coding. You will support the creation of accessible and reusable user interface work across our digital products. You will work with designers and developers to turn visual concepts into production-ready components.
What you'll do#
- Build and refine front-end UI using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and modern frameworks.
- Translate Figma designs, wireframes, or product requirements into responsive interfaces.
- Improve consistency across buttons, forms, navigation, and other UI patterns.
- Document UI patterns, component usage, and front-end decisions.
- Test interfaces across screen sizes and browsers to ensure a polished experience.
- Participate in design reviews, product discussions, and implementation planning.
- Identify and address usability friction, layout issues, and accessibility gaps.
What you'll need#
- Current student in Human-Computer Interaction, UX Design, Interaction Design, Web Development, Computer Science, Digital Media, or a related field.
- Working knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
- Familiarity with Figma or similar design tools.
- A portfolio, class project, or personal project showing implemented web interfaces.
- Ability to think critically about user experience.
- Clear communication skills when working with design and engineering stakeholders.
