About the role#
This Finance Intern position provides support to the business through financial processes, reporting, and analytical projects. You will work on operational and financial accounting tasks to help the team accomplish goals and improve processes.
What you'll do#
- Support inventory closing processes.
- Review and verify vendor and customer statements, including follow-up.
- Assist with truck costing and the preparation of month-end reporting.
- Help with Fixed Asset accounting.
- Create Excel files and business metric information for various projects.
- Assist with reports such as Fuel Tax and review employee expense reports.
- Identify ways to improve processes by removing non-value-added work.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a Bachelor degree program for Accounting, Finance, Business, or a related field.
- Strong communication skills.
- Excellent organizational abilities.
- Basic knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Access, and Word.
