About the role#
This summer internship program offers a 10-week introduction to the wholesale lending division at Barclays. You will work within the International Corporate Bank, which provides lending, trade finance, cash management, and hedging solutions to global organizations. Interns join a collaborative environment where they contribute to real projects and gain a comprehensive view of the business under the guidance of mentors and managers.
What you'll do#
- Execute research projects to support strategic decision making.
- Assist with relationship loans, cash management RFPs, and trade finance facilities.
- Prepare presentations and reports to communicate research findings.
- Manage the development and implementation of financial models.
- Participate in training and development programs to build skills.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on business initiatives.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in an undergraduate degree program.
- A target graduation date within one year of the internship conclusion.
- Current authorization to work in the United States on a full-time basis.
- Interest in finance, business, or economics.
