About the role#
This internship offers hands-on experience in a fulfillment environment. You will work directly on the warehouse floor alongside site leadership. The role focuses on daily operations across E-commerce, Wholesale, and Retail replenishment processes. It is designed for someone who enjoys solving problems and motivating teams in a production-focused setting.
What you'll do#
- Coordinate daily work activities across departments to improve workflow and throughput.
- Identify floor bottlenecks and find real-time solutions to operational problems.
- Ensure floor associates have the training, tools, and support they need.
- Inspect work accuracy and output quality.
- Track and report production metrics and key performance indicators.
- Monitor labor utilization and supply costs.
- Assist managers with reviewing performance and attendance data.
- Promote facility safety, ergonomics, and housekeeping standards.
- Participate in cross-training employees across multiple departments.
- Interact with cross-functional teams to resolve operational issues.
- Cultivate an inclusive work environment.
What you'll need#
- Currently pursuing a college degree in Supply Chain Management or Operations Management.
- A strong analytical mindset.
- Ability to multi-task and prioritize work with minimal supervision.
- Ability to adapt in a goal-driven environment.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to support, motivate, and mentor team members.
- Ability to stand, walk, climb, balance, kneel, and crouch throughout shifts.
- Ability to reach, push, pull, and lift materials up to 50 pounds.
- Willingness to operate warehouse equipment like pallet jacks, forklifts, cherry pickers, or box cutters.
