About the role#
As a College Financial Representative, you will build a financial planning practice from the ground up. This role provides a framework to develop your professional network while helping others work toward financial goals. You will operate as an independent contractor, gaining experience in business strategy and financial services.
What you'll do#
- Prospect and network to build your own business and client base.
- Develop and execute a personal business strategy.
- Call on potential clients to set meetings and identify their financial goals.
- Prepare financial plans and offer recommendations to clients.
- Participate in weekly coaching, training, and development meetings.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment as a full-time student, preferably as a junior or senior.
- Strong interest in sales and entrepreneurial work.
- Active involvement in campus organizations, athletics, or leadership roles.
- Excellent time-management skills to balance your studies and business.
- Academic background in Business Administration, Finance, or Economics is preferred.
