About the role#
As a College Financial Representative, you will build a financial planning practice from the ground up. You will develop professional skills, expand your network, and learn to help clients work toward their financial goals. This program offers a framework for you to gain experience while balancing your academic responsibilities.
What you'll do#
- Prospect and network to build your business and client base.
- Develop and execute a personal business strategy.
- Call on potential clients and set meetings to understand their financial needs.
- Prepare financial plans and offer recommendations.
- Participate in weekly coaching, training, and development meetings.
- Gain exposure to proprietary planning software platforms.
What you'll need#
- You are a full-time student, preferably a junior or senior.
- You have an interest in sales and entrepreneurial ambitions.
- You are highly involved on campus, such as in student government, athletics, or organizations.
- You possess strong time-management skills.
- You have an interest in financial literacy and planning tools.
- Majors in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, or Marketing are relevant to this role.

- This position is located in Tucson, Arizona.
- The role is on-site.
- This is a paid, full-time internship with a rolling term.
- You will receive support for state insurance licensing and relevant industry registrations.
