About the role#
Northrop Grumman is hiring interns for the Vehicle Engineering group within our Aeronautics Systems sector. You will work on manned and unmanned aircraft platforms. This is a full-time, paid summer internship program for students pursuing degrees in engineering.
What you'll do#
- Construct, troubleshoot, calibrate, test, and maintain equipment, components, and systems.
- Work directly from engineering drawings and follow verbal or written instructions.
- Operate equipment, conduct tests, and report data in a prescribed format.
- Perform calibration and alignment checks, making adjustments or modifications as directed.
- Analyze, research, and develop structural engineering analysis packages for metals or composite materials used in product design.
What you'll need#
- Current full-time enrollment in an undergraduate or graduate degree program.
- Expected graduation date after August 2027.
- Major in Aerospace, Mechanical, or Electrical Engineering.
- Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. Government security clearance, which requires U.S. citizenship.
- Availability to work full-time for at least 10 weeks during summer 2027.
