About the role#
Northrop Grumman is seeking a Software Test Engineering Intern for the Strategic Deterrent Systems Division. This role is based in Huntsville, Alabama, and will take place during the summer of 2027. You will join our team to support software testing initiatives while gaining hands-on experience in the defense sector.
What you'll do#
- Develop and execute automated testing procedures.
- Produce metrics reports to support project goals.
- Write and maintain software code and scripts.
- Use code analysis tools like GitLab.
- Use data analysis tools such as Tableau.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment as a full-time undergraduate or graduate student in Computer Science or Computer Engineering.
- Availability to work 40 hours per week for at least 10 weeks during summer 2027.
- U.S. citizenship is required.
- Ability to obtain a U.S. Government security clearance.
- A cumulative GPA of 3.70/4.0 or higher is preferred.
