About the role#
Pinnacle offers a 10-12 week internship program focused on reliability engineering. You will gain experience in the energy industry through technical training and project work. The program includes individual and group presentations, networking opportunities, and structured mentorship. This is a full-time, paid position.
What you'll do#
- Develop and implement comprehensive reliability programs.
- Organize and verify technical data using specific software.
- Extract data from P&IDs and engineering drawings, such as metallurgy, pressure, and temperature.
- Generate risk profiles for operating facilities.
- Participate in asset optimization studies using process flow diagrams and heat and material balances.
- Deliver a final presentation on your accomplishments and findings.
What you'll need#
- Completion of at least three years at an accredited university in Computer, Mechanical, Chemical, Industrial, or Aerospace Engineering.
- Academic success in your field of study.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- A strong aptitude for learning new processes and techniques.
- Willingness to relocate to Pasadena, TX for the duration of the program.
- Ability to work on-site.
