About the role#
As a Manufacturing Intern, you will spend your summer working on projects within one of our manufacturing departments. You will gain hands-on experience in your field of study while working directly with our plant teams. This role requires a continuous improvement mindset and the ability to solve problems in a production environment.
What you'll do#
- Rotate through multiple areas of the manufacturing plant to understand our processes.
- Support plant team members with production methods and machinery.
- Assist with research on new and existing projects to support decision making.
- Attend department meetings and create action plans based on feedback.
- Develop and deliver a final presentation on your projects and outcomes to department leadership.
What you'll need#
- Current Junior or Rising Senior pursuing a Bachelor's Degree in Industrial, Mechanical, or Electrical Engineering, Operations Management, or Supply Chain Management.
- No prior experience in a manufacturing environment is required.
- Ability to perform in a work environment that moves quickly.
- A continuous improvement mindset.
