About the role#
KLFY-TV 10 and KLFY.com are looking for interns for the Fall 2026 term. This role provides experience in a digital and broadcast newsroom, helping to develop the next generation of journalists through daily assignments.
What you'll do#
- Develop content for both on-line and on-air platforms.
- Gain real world experience in a newsroom setting.
- Learn to work effectively in a team environment.
- Perform duties related to the internship program.
- Receive constructive feedback on your progress throughout the term.
What you'll need#
- You must be enrolled in college and receiving course credit for this internship.
- A high school diploma or equivalent is required.
- You should have an ability to learn industry and organizational skills.
- Strong teamwork skills are necessary.
- A willingness to work in a newsroom environment.

- Location: Lafayette, Louisiana.
- Work modality: On-site.
- This is an unpaid internship for the Fall 2026 semester.
