About the role#
The External Affairs Department seeks a motivated intern to assist with internal and external communications, policy strategy, and legislative requests. This role provides insight into our organizational work while helping you develop skills in communications and public policy.
What you'll do#
- Assist staff with daily operations.
- Produce social media content, policy updates, and legislative alerts.
- Monitor legislative and policy updates at the city, state, and federal levels.
- Create and manage an annual communications and editorial calendar.
- Design flyers, invitations, and other collateral materials.
- Support the monthly staff newsletter by engaging team members and gathering content ideas.
What you'll need#

- Enrollment in fields such as Communications, Political Science, Business Administration, or Public Health.
