About the role#
Nexstar Media Group, Inc. offers an unpaid internship for students interested in broadcast media production and distribution. This role is based on-site in Lafayette, California, and operates on a rolling basis.
What you'll do#
You will help the production team create news segments and gather information for stories. Your daily tasks include supporting on-air talent during live broadcasts and helping to manage social media content. You will also attend team meetings to share ideas for upcoming projects.
What you'll need#
We are looking for students majoring in Communications, Journalism, Media Studies, English, or Political Science. You should have a strong interest in media production and basic knowledge of video editing. Familiarity with social media platforms and strong communication skills are required for this position.
