About the role#
The Finance & Accounting Intern will join our team for a 10-week summer program. You will immerse yourself in the daily operations of our finance department, which manages the financial health of the company and guides strategic decisions. This role is designed to provide professional development and real-world experience as you work alongside experienced personnel.
What you'll do#
- Perform business analyses and provide recommendations to leadership regarding business and process changes.
- Train across several functions to learn about line and staff operations, company policies, and best practices.
- Observe experienced team members to understand the methods, procedures, and standards required for departmental tasks.
- Champion process improvement initiatives and use specific tools to complete assigned projects.
- Attend company-sponsored training classes and work toward obtaining required certifications.
What you'll need#
- Currently pursuing a four-year degree in Finance or Accounting with a graduation date between Fall 2027 and Spring 2028.
- Strong proficiency in Excel and Tableau, including experience with charts, pivot tables, formulas, and macros.
- Demonstrated ability in quantitative analysis.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to multi-task and maintain composure under pressure or tight deadlines.
Location & details#
- This is a full-time, paid internship based on-site in Coppell, Texas.
- The program takes place during the Summer of 2027.
