About the role#
Newrez is offering a 10-week summer internship program for students interested in software development. As part of our developer teams, you will work on our proprietary applications and gain hands-on experience in a professional environment. This is a paid, full-time, on-site position based in Coppell, Texas.
What you'll do#
- Contribute to a scrum team as a developer.
- Convert written and visual requirements into functional software code.
- Build software that adheres to design and architectural standards.
- Test code to ensure it meets project requirements.
- Support code deployment and post-production maintenance tasks.
- Use AI tools to assist in software development projects.
What you'll need#
- You are currently pursuing a four-year degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
- Your expected graduation date is between Fall 2027 and Spring 2028.
- Proficiency in .net, c#, git, and SQL.
- Strong skills in Excel and/or Tableau.
- An ability to adapt and a willingness to learn new methods.
- You must be legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.
