About the role#
The Investor Reporting Intern joins our data team for a 10-week summer program. You will work on the financial aspects of mortgage banking, including cash posting and cash movement. This role focuses on gaining real-world experience, learning company policies, and contributing to process improvement projects under the guidance of experienced staff.
What you'll do#
- Maintain and organize files, spreadsheets, and documentation.
- Assist with data entry and validation tasks.
- Perform business analyses and provide recommendations to leadership regarding process changes.
- Champion the Process Improvement discipline by implementing tools for various projects.
- Participate in daily data team activities and attend company training sessions.
What you'll need#
- Currently pursuing a four-year degree in Finance, Computer Science, or Economics with a graduation date between Fall 2027 and Spring 2028.
- Strong skills in Excel and Tableau.
- Proficiency in quantitative analysis.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Experience with SQL is a plus.
- Ability to work in a collaborative, team-oriented environment.
Location & details#
- This is a full-time, paid internship based on-site in Coppell, Texas.
- The program runs during Summer 2027.
- Applicants must be legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship. We do not provide visa sponsorship for this position.
- Employment is contingent on having a smartphone that meets company security standards for required applications.
