About the role#
Newrez is hiring an HR Benefits Intern for our Summer 2027 internship program. This 10-week opportunity allows you to work directly with our Benefits and Leave Administration teams. You will gain experience with company programs including health and welfare plans and 401K administration. This is a full-time, on-site position based in Coppell, Texas.
What you'll do#
- Support daily Benefits and Leave operations through administrative, analytical, and project-based tasks.
- Assist with automation, process improvement, and AI-enabled initiatives.
- Analyze data and build dashboards to support leadership decision-making.
- Help with compliance reviews, audits, and reporting requirements.
- Maintain accurate records and prepare employee communications.
- Research industry best practices and propose new approaches.
- Attend company-sponsored training and build professional relationships.
What you'll need#
- Currently pursuing a four-year degree in Human Resources or Business Administration with a graduation date between Fall 2027 and Spring 2028.
- Proficiency in quantitative analysis.
- Strong skills in Excel and Tableau, including formulas, pivot tables, and data visualization.
- Highly developed organizational and project management skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Legal authorization to work in the United States without sponsorship.
