About the role#
This is a 10-week summer internship program based in Fort Washington, Pennsylvania. You will join the Direct to Consumer team to gain professional experience in the mortgage industry. The program focuses on building relationships, learning corporate operations, and preparing for a career in the field. This is a full-time, paid position.
What you'll do#
- Attend instructor-led training to prepare for and take the SAFE Mortgage Loan Originator Test.
- Engage with consumers over the phone to identify their needs and recommend suitable mortgage products.
- Prepare mortgage loan applications and create effective loan proposals.
- Provide customer service to borrowers.
- Build professional relationships with colleagues and team members.
- Observe experienced staff to learn company methods, procedures, and performance standards.
What you'll need#
- Currently pursuing a four-year degree with a graduation date between Fall 2027 and Spring 2028.
- Majors in Business Administration, Finance, or Economics.
- Ability to pass a background check required for state licensing.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Attention to detail and a willingness to learn.
- Ability to adapt to new tasks and work environments.
- Legal authorization to work in the United States without company sponsorship.
