About the role#
As a Business Development Representative Intern, you will join our 10-week summer program to gain experience in sales and marketing. You will work on hands-on projects, build connections with team members, and participate in professional development and networking events. This role focuses on building a sales pipeline through prospecting and lead qualification.
What you'll do#
- Build a sales pipeline by prospecting and qualifying target accounts and inbound inquiries.
- Work toward assigned activity and opportunity generation goals.
- Collaborate with your manager and team leads to optimize revenue generation and pipeline health.
- Research and document business intelligence on target buyer profiles, pain points, and key influences.
- Initiate the sales process by following up on marketing activities.
- Document project and organization details for identified opportunities.
What you'll need#
- You must be a rising senior pursuing a bachelor or master degree with a graduation date in December 2027 or May 2028.
- A clear interest in pursuing a career in Sales or Marketing.
- Strong communication skills, high energy, and a focus on results.
- Ability to build rapport and manage relationships with stakeholders.
- Professionalism, self-motivation, and a desire for personal and professional growth.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, specifically Outlook, Word, and Excel.
- An interest in the healthcare industry is a plus.
- Legal authorization to work in the United States without visa sponsorship.

- This position is located on-site in Overland Park, Kansas.
- This is a full-time, paid internship for the Summer 2027 term.
