About the role#
As an Operations Intern at NCR Voyix, you will gain experience in how a global technology organization translates strategy into execution. You will work with cross-functional teams to support projects that improve business processes, optimize operations, and advance strategic initiatives. You will take ownership of a project while participating in professional development and networking opportunities. The summer experience includes mentorship from experienced professionals and concludes with an Internship Expo where you will present your project and findings.
What you'll do#
- Support strategic initiatives by contributing to transformation projects that improve organizational effectiveness.
- Conduct research and analysis to gather data, identify trends, and develop insights.
- Partner with cross-functional teams to drive process improvement and optimize workflows.
- Manage project execution through planning, milestone tracking, status reporting, and coordination.
- Develop executive communications including presentations, business updates, and decision-support materials.
What you'll need#
- Current pursuit of a bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Industrial Engineering, Operations Management, Analytics, Economics, Finance, or a related field.
- Expected graduation date between December 2027 and May 2028.
- Demonstrated interest in strategy, operations, business transformation, analytics, or process improvement.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills with the ability to translate data into actionable insights.
- Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and an aptitude for learning tools such as Power BI, Power Automate, Smartsheet, or Figma.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
Location & details#
- This is a full-time, paid internship.
- The role is based on-site at our Atlanta, Georgia, headquarters.
- The program term is Summer 2027, running from late May to early August.
