About the role#
As a Software Engineer Intern, you will work with experienced engineers to design, develop, and test software solutions. These products power retail, restaurant, payments, and digital commerce experiences. You will own a project throughout the summer, participate in professional development, and engage with leadership. The program concludes with an Internship Expo where you will present your work to the organization.
What you'll do#
- Build high-performing, scalable applications.
- Work in an agile team to implement user stories with automated testing.
- Collaborate with Product Managers, Project Managers, and support teams to meet business requirements.
- Contribute to project planning and provide input on tasks and timelines.
- Debug, troubleshoot, and resolve software issues.
- Participate in code reviews to improve code quality.
- Use AI-enabled development tools to support your work.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a relevant technical field like Computer Science or Computer Engineering.
- Rising senior status in a bachelor's degree program.
- Experience with one or more coding languages such as C#, C++, Go, Java, JavaScript.NET, Objective C, Python, or Swift.
- A desire to learn and adapt to new technologies and environments.
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Clear verbal and written communication skills.
Location & details#
- This is a full-time, paid internship.
- The role is based on-site at the Atlanta, Georgia headquarters five days a week.
- The program runs from late May to early August 2027.
- Sponsorship is not provided for this role.
