About the role#
This is a paid, full-time summer internship for 2027. You will work on-site at our Baltimore facility to gain hands-on experience in manufacturing operations. The role focuses on production, quality control, process improvement, and safety.
What you'll do#
- Assist with daily manufacturing operations alongside experienced staff.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to troubleshoot production issues and carry out corrective actions.
- Support continuous improvement by finding inefficiencies and suggesting process changes.
- Document and analyze data regarding production metrics, efficiency, and quality.
- Participate in training sessions to build your knowledge of manufacturing technologies and leadership skills.
- Shadow management across departments like Production, Quality, Maintenance, Engineering, Environmental & Safety, and Human Resources.
- Follow all safety protocols to maintain a secure work environment.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a Bachelor degree program for Engineering, Business, or a manufacturing-related field.
- Academic background in operations management or manufacturing processes.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work with all levels of staff.
- Analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
- Ability to lift 50lbs and access all plant areas.

- Schedule: Full-time during Summer 2027.
- Travel: Up to 10% may be required.
- Work Modality: On-site only.
