We are looking for a detail-oriented and motivated Intern to support our New York Premium Transparency process. In this role, you will work with insurance data, review premium information, and help prepare customer-facing documents that explain premium changes. You will use tools such as Guidewire, Excel, Word, and SharePoint to analyze data, create comparison excel reports, and maintain accurate records. Key Responsibilities Learn basic insurance concepts, terminology, and premium rating factors. Extract and review insurance data from Guidewire. Copy and transfer data from Guidewire into Excel templates accurately. Create side-by-side premium comparison reports for consecutive policy terms. Analyze year-over-year premium changes and identify key factors driving increases or decreases. Prepare Premium Transparency documents in Microsoft Word that clearly explain reasons for premium changes. Ensure accuracy, consistency, and completeness of premium calculations and supporting information. Perform quality checks on reports and documentation before delivery. Manage high volumes of work while maintaining a strong focus on quality and deadlines. Store and organize completed Word documents in SharePoint for the Print Team. Maintain detailed records and follow established processes and guidelines. Collaborate with team members to resolve data discrepancies and improve reporting quality.
