About the role#
This internship offers an opportunity to support the New York Premium Transparency process. You will gain exposure to insurance operations by working with data, reviewing premium information, and preparing documents for customers. This is a paid position for the Fall 2026 term.
What you'll do#
- Learn insurance concepts, terminology, and premium rating factors.
- Extract and review insurance data from Guidewire.
- Create side-by-side premium comparison reports for consecutive policy terms.
- Prepare Premium Transparency documents in Microsoft Word to explain premium changes.
- Collaborate with team members to resolve data discrepancies and improve reporting quality.
What you'll need#
- Currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Economics, Mathematics, or Statistics.
- Ability to work 20 hours per week during the fall semester.
- Confidence using MS Office 365 tools including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Notes, and Teams.
- Strong attention to detail and analytical thinking skills.
- Authorization to work in the United States without employer sponsorship.
