For MAMT to continue to lead the industry, it is critical that the highest quality prototypes be delivered in a timely manner.Key Responsibilities:Saw-cutting and square up various metalComfortable manual milling machine & manual lathe operationComfortable using hand toolsProficient at milling machine operation set-upsBasic understanding of best machine practices (feeds & speeds)Program CNC code from provided CAD dataSet up appropriate machining tools, offsets, and materials as per program directionRun CNC Code and verify finished components as requiredInteract with Design Engineers/Project Leaders/Toolmakers/Apprentices to develop (high volume) manufacturable components with an eye for product improvement and potential build issuesEnsure that the customers’ requirements, which include project timing, part quality and delivery are understood and metConsider alternative solutions for given tasks or problemsMaintain job folder/electronic data as requiredAttend meetings as requiredBe responsible for all parameters of assigned tasksEnsure the shop environment is kept safe, clean and organized to enable timely and safe manufacturing techniquesReview project direction with Project LeaderKeep supervisor informed of all program issuesAssign tasks to co-workers as per direction of supervisorProvide training, guidance and assistance to co-workers as requiredEnsure adequate communication with other program team membersMaintain accurate timesheets and ensure they are completed on timeFollow all documented quality proceduresObserve all company safety rules, policies and proceduresAttend all training courses requiredDocument/present information obtained from conferences and training courses as requiredParticipating in MAMT’s continuous improvement activitiesFoster good employee relationsPerform all other duties as determined by the General Manager or his designateWork Term: January 2027 - December 2027This job posting is for an existing vacancy.
