About the role#
This internship is part of the Future Talent Program within our Global Support Functions Division. You will work at our Rahway site providing environmental, health, and safety (EHS) support to our local business partners. The program lasts 10-12 weeks and offers a chance to contribute to specific projects while gaining experience in the pharmaceutical manufacturing industry.
What you'll do#
- Provide technical support for EHS compliance.
- Assist with programs covering general occupational safety and high risk work.
- Support industrial hygiene initiatives.
- Help manage air, water, and waste environmental programs.
- Identify process inefficiencies and propose solutions.
What you'll need#
- You are currently pursuing a Bachelors or Master’s degree in Safety, Environmental Science, Engineering, Biotechnology, Chemistry, Biology, or a related technical field.
- You have completed at least 2 years of college coursework.
- You can work full time for the duration of the 10-12 week program.
- You possess strong critical thinking, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- You work well within a small team.
- You can receive direction and implement changes effectively.
- Prior experience in the EHS field or chemical manufacturing is a plus.
